Money Supermarket kindly gave me £50 to host my very own BBQ, joining in with their Charcoal Challenge. I had originally planned to have it at our little flat but my Mum suggested we drive up North to see family & friends, treating them all to some tasty food & drinks. Being the terrible blogger that I am I actually forgot to take photos & only snapped a few (the first five!) of the actual day but we visited again last weekend so I had the opportunity to get some more photos as Doms family hosted a little graduation celebration for him! With the money I had I picked a selection of burgers (lamb & mint and beef), sausages (sweet chilli, caramelised onion & plain pork), lots of salad kinda items, corn on the cob (my faaaave), fresh bread rolls & of course a couple of disposable bbqs! I had tried to buy an actual BBQ but the one I wanted which was within budget had gone out of stock :(, the disposable ones were great though, plus it meant less washing up! There was about 10 of us altogether yet I still managed to ensure there was plenty of food for our BBQ feast for under £50. Even little Tilly had a piece of sausage & a small chunk of cheese so she wasn't left out (:
Thank you so much for letting me participate in this challenge Money Supermarket!
Have you managed to have any BBQ's during the recent heatwave!?
