(MAC have sneaked their prices up again, I definitely didn't pay that much!)
These little glass pots of cream eyeshadows are absolutely perfect for someone like me who is pretty clueless when it comes to applying eyeshadows, no matter how many YouTube tutorials I watch I can never achieve nicely applied eyeshadow... one day I will master the smokey eye look! MAC Paint Pots claim to be 'a highly pigmented eye colour that goes on creamy but dries to an intense, vibrant finish'.
Bare Study is a shimmery beige, champagne kinda colour in a frost finish. I use my finger to apply this as the heat warms the product up making it easier to put on to my eyelid. I don't do any special techniques I simply rub it all over my eyelid & voila! Although I will say it gets a little bit awkward to blend or remove once it's dried so I apply a little bit & build it up if necessary, rather than cake a load on & then be stuck with overly shimmery eyelids. I quite like using this on its own along with flicked eyeliner but I can see this being a lovely base to build on if you're more of an expert in the eyeshadow world!
I know there are lots of cream eyeshadows available on the high street & I've heard the Maybelline Colour Tattoos are really good dupes, so I'm going to have a look at these next before I invest anymore money on another MAC one! What is your favourite shade & what other dupes are available for me to have a look at?
